Back in the 80's when I was in Junior High the son of my dad's secretary broke his leg falling out of a tree by the high fence. If he knew what he was going to see I don't think he would have made the climb.

If you know the type of characters that live in Lacombe, then you'll know to stay away from there.

I have lived in Lacombe and count it among the best places I have ever lived. Wife and three kids made a lot of friends there that we still keep in touch with and visit.

Helen Mirren is a unicorn and is in no way indicative of even half a percent of women that age.

Absolutely. Family has a camp on the Bayou there...that's where my ashes will be scattered. So serene and beautiful. Open skies and water. Truly magnificent. People from around the country are stunned by it when they have experienced it.

No doubt, my grandparents just passed away and selling their house and land there is gonna be tough. I was only kidding when I said that. Lacombe is where I'd love to go every weekend.

You probably know my family if you were there for an extended period of time.

Family Rules In the 70’s, when the park opened, family nudity was very popular. Florida and California still maintain a large population of nudist families. Being less popular in Louisiana, we ask that you only bring children if they have been raised in the nudist lifestyle and are familiar with the rules and culture. • Only parents and legal guardians are allowed to bring children. Parents must bring a birth certificate for each child (under the age of 18). • Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior and safety. • Please do not allow your children to disturb other guests. • Children under 14 are not permitted in the hot tubs. • Children under the age of 18 MUST be supervised at all times. • Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the pool area after 7:00 PM.

When you can hold two cups of coffee and still can handle a dozen doughnuts. Ron Jeremy in a nudist camp...an old joke.

I've been and it is wonderful! ABSOLUTELY worth checking it out. Fun events, really relaxing pool area and nature walk, friendly staff and great lodging or tent camping. Here is their website if you're curious!

Hmm, I didn't think Caitlin was a name used until the 80s. How many Centrum Silvers you take a day?
