In praise of the cops

All of us hate bullshite traffic stops and such but random stuff like that helps to build up a record of truly bad guys like the ones who are topic number one in California today.
Without that database plus men and women willing to place themselves in harm's way, today's shooters would have gotten cleanly away.

you really think towns like krotz springs are handing out tickets like Halloween candy to help catch the "bad guys?"

The police did a great job handling this.
I listened to them online and the female dispatcher did an amazing job of keeping calm and relaying information. Whoever she is, she did a great job.

that black cop in Krotz Springs had me spread eagle on the hood of my truck because I had an expired inspection sticker. Of course I called him a dick first. That was a hundred twenty buck.

I would just like to thank that one lady cop for giving me a ticket for going 30 in a 20 (not a school zone) the other day. Seriously, kudos to you lady.

Was pretty cool to see cop escorting victims out saying "I'm going to take a bullet before you do"
