Did he borrow the Vice President's plane to be able to land in B.R.?

Yes. BTR does not have the runway space to land a 747.

ETA: Apparently BTR does have the runway, its the next stop that doesnt.

AF-1 has landed here before. He switched planes for his next stop which has a shorter runway.

He’s also likely to tout what he sees as successes in his signature health care law, following Louisiana’s move to become the 31st state in the nation to voluntarily expand Medicaid through the federal Affordable Care Act this week.

Someone has to be there. I think the OT would love crowd pics of the people he is pandering to today that were lucky enough to get off work.

Love this line of thought.

In a month or so, a bunch of white, middle-class conservatives will be "lucky enough" to get off work to drink beer and eat food while watching a bunch of high school kids fax letters.

But let's criticize people today.

HIGHLY disappointed that the Kipster didn't wear a costume. This was his big chance. I would have liked to see him in a Kaptain Krunch style third world dictators General uniform with tons of medals and a big hat.

Somebody doesn't understand how accrued PTO works. Probably because he's never had any.

Crazy sound. Im at the Hampton inn right next to the Holiday inn. everything is shut down so I guessing hes about to come out. All morning I have watched 2 and 4 bike cops pull out of that hotel. I have stayed here a few times and never heard it this quiet

Obama has done more than enough to merit the respect of all Americans.

He has been the most purposefully divisive president in history. There have been divisive issues before - Vietnam war, e.g. - but never a president whose objective was to create division and political unrest.

MOST presidents work to be POTUS of all the people, once elected. Hell - I loath LBJ, but even he was not purposefully divisive. His policies were wrong, but he didn't intend to create a hostile atmosphere.

Obama has done absolutely nothing that attempts to unite America - he has sought out ways to open wounds, widen them, and take political advantage of the pain inflicted.

Obama has not spent one day being the president of all the people. He is president only for the DEM fanatic side of the electorate. To all others his message is 'elections have consequences' = if you don't support every thing I want, you are not being 'cooperative' and I will attack you for it.

Respect for the office is expected. Respect for the individual holding the office has to be earned.

Nobody can outline a scenario were he has earned respect from anyone but his political allies.

Obama is good at what he does.

Take that for what it is. It's not always a compliment.

To tell us how much he loves John Bel Edwards. And give him mo money for dat expansion. If only Vitter warned us about that.

Thank god the overlap between John Bel and Obama is only one year.
