Seems that with the younger generations, they tend to be timid.
I'm sure they'll sculpt society to make themselves feel more comfortable.

Likely. I would be 80 then, so I'll most likely be dead and not have to worry about living in a world filled even more with pussies than today.

Hopefully we'll all be dead by then so we won't have to live in such a world

I hope, I have to have a firm hand shake and eye to eye contact with a dozen or so different people a day.

AI will have no need for eye to eye contact. As for humans, we'll be extinct.

social anxiety disorders brought on by over reliance to technology that takes away from interpersonal contact.... it's actually a thing

Eye contact will be non-existent. People's eyes are glued to their phone screens.

No, but being a pussy complaining about petty shite on a message board will always be looked down upon.

You've never been to NYC? Eye to Eye hasn't existed there for 50 years already.

out of all the big cities in the US don't they have the highest suicide rate per capita?

I make it a point to have a good handshake. People always say something about it, even though I don't crank down on their hand (unless you give me a wet noodle handshake).
I also make it a point to have eye contact with people, and people have commented on it many times. Most people will look away after a split second of eye contact. Some won't make eye contact at all.
When I first moved to Metairie, I used to get angry when I waved at people and they just tried to ignore it. I've learned the ways of the southshore now, and just flip them the bird instead.
In some high schools and colleges, they actually teach kids this stuff in classes
