I honestly tried to make it through your post like 4 times, but every time I stopped about halfway. Still don't know how it ends. Next time be more interesting.

I'm heading to NOLA before it's too late, I need a message pronto!

You hit on something.

Perhaps that explains why he disappeared after I chose my path? Perhaps my decision determined his existence or lack thereof?

I was expecting this:
quote:

I thought to myself that I must be in the presence of an angel, perhaps my guardian. His message was too eerily relevant to ignore when contemplating my recent decision to change my college path...this couldn't be a chance encounter with a mere mortal.

I realized my mistake, too late, when I felt the sharp pain in my side and looked down to see blood gathering on my shirt and the bloody knife held my the man I thought my benefactor. As I lost consciousness I felt him rummaging through my pockets. "Stupid fricking kid" he muttered as he walked away into the darkness.

The correct answer is you have them on Bourbon Street, or whatever street you're on.

The original correct answer was "You got them on yo' feet." After enough people caught on, it switched to the street name.

I don't make eye contact with the lowly street vagrants. I ignore them. I act as if they don't exist in my reality.

From what I've heard, the absolute best place to follow that passion is in New Orleans East, at about 1 am, near any HUD/FHA sponsored housing complex.

In 2007, I met a stripper in New Orleans, she told me that in 5 years I was going to be clairvoyant and then gave me an overpriced lap dance.

She was right, from that moment I realized that all lap dances in the future would be overpriced and likely with someone mentally unstable.
