I hear you man I live in a once ok middle class area of Baton Rouge. I also own rental property around the parish and city. All people say is you need to move or sell out at a huge loss. My tenants are good black, white, Asian, and Latino's that might not be able to afford to move.
Problem the thugs are not going to stay in run down areas because they don't see that they are the problem.
They also will follow money because they need to steal and you cannot steal from other thugs without getting shot or killed. Wussy middle class people are the easiest targets because they believe that the police will protect them.
Sooner or later there will be no place left to move that there are not thugs in Baton Rouge!
Really the thugs have taken over the city under Mayor Kip Holdens Administration.
Get use to it pack heat, put a fence around your property with bob wire, and get use to the thugs.
