Based on my radar app, OP caught the worst of it. It's just a green and yellow blob heading west down I10 now.

I live on the southern end of ebr about a quarter of a mile from Iberville. It was just a decent amount of rain. Lasted 30 minutes. No hail. Minimal wind. The line in April was 100x's worse.

"April 27th had nothing on what just hit here"

One of the top 3 worst tornado outbreaks in American history had nothing on a summertime thunderstorm? Hyperbole much?

I was driving to work on April 27th and that was the darkest non-night sky I've ever seen. Thought it was the end times, and then immediately thought of all the things I had done wrong in my life

We're not talking about the Tuscaloosa tornado, Roll Tide baw.

A massive line of storms rolled through south Louisiana on April 27th, 2015. That's what I was talking about.

Most on TD from LA couldn't tell you when the Tuscaloosa tornado was. The date was a coincidence.
