Having the dad see the c section will make him also understand why the mom has so much pain after. You would hurt to if someone shoved your intestines back into you though a small opening. People forget a c section is still surgery.

Seeing the Natural way a child is born was enough for me. The c-section may have sent me to the ER

i didn't think it was nasty at all. Didn't get squeamish or anything. Thought it was cool. Now the noises my daughters head made when they pulled her from her mothers ribcage was kinda gross sounding but overall it was a pleasant experience for me.

You should eat something....even if it's just a small protein bar or granola bar.
She needs you today.....you don't want to end up getting light headed and faint because you forgot to eat.
