In Seattle, Man Fends Off Armed Robber By Telling Him: “I’m From St. Louis”

quote:

West stated that he is from St. Louis and was not going to be robbed. The suspect was unable to say anything to West because West confronted him first. West said, “So what are you going to do with that big arse pistol? If you wanna rob me I ain’t got nothing. If you decide to do this we’re gunna go heads up!”

Lol, had he done this in North County/North St.Louis, they would of shot his arse. #Livesdontmatterinthelou

Once I was in Los Angeles and a guy held me up at gunpoint. I told him I was from Jackson, MS and he gave me his money and shot himself in the face.

I have never understood why people feel the need to announce to the world where they are from before a street fight.

If you order a drink at a bar in St. Louis, they give you your drink, and the bill at the same time. Like they're telling you to leave. Every bar in St. Louis does this. If you order another drink, they give you an updated bill. You say, "I'm going to be here a while." They say, "Ok." and leave the bill there. Worst fricking hospitality only to Chicago. So frick people from St. Louis.

What about people winning a beer chugging contest or accomplishing any drinking feat then saying "I'm from Louisiana, my kind knows how to drink"?

Not that I stand up for this shithole but that is 100% false.

Restaurants and bars around here do it, even in the nice areas. I never thought much of it. Now, it's time for a mudcheck.

Everywhere my wife and I went to in downtown St. Louis did that. The only place that didn't was Busch Stadium.
