there is a self fulfilling prophecy and symbiotic relationship at work, also
just like with all the metal bands in the 80s who started using occult symbols once the stupid people started the last satanism moral panic. the bands only did it b/c it made them look edgy/cool and created a brand that sold more records

So first I have to believe the Illuminati is real and active. Then, I have to jump to things like Madonna dancing with a cane is part of this and not because she is 90.
