There is the picture!!!!

Story behind if for those that don't know. A few years ago there was a post your pic thing here on the OT.

I was laying on my couch watching TV and thought yeah I'll do this. I had been using my arm as a pillow. Perhaps I tried to church it up lol. I took a pic of me and posted it. OT gloriness abounded. I was roasted to high heaven. It was one of the best nights I had here here on the OT. I laughed so hard. Capplewood even had it has his avi for a while. It was a fun night.

People still talk of the legend of Ted.

I do appreciate it. But, man, I dont even know where to start. If it were not for my living kids I would gladly end it. I dont mean to be an attention whore. But, maybe I started this thread to face my own mortality. All I can say is I feel life is just not worth it anymore.

Well doing it for your kids is for sure a good reason, I must admit I haven't had to struggle for anything in my life and I'm very grateful for that so I may not be the best candidate to give you life advice. I just try to look at the best in every situation I am faced with, no matter how big or small it is. You just have to try to be happy and find things that bring you happiness. No matter what people think or say just do what you want, I think that some people are too caught up on what some people think of them and that causes them to live their lives a totally different way. If you just live your life for yourself then I think you'll become a lot more happy with your current situation. I'm sure you having kids brings you happiness, and the things they do is what keeps you going. If you need something more than that like a relationship then go out and try to meet people. There is always someone out there for you

I hope that helps!

Thank you brother. My kids are my world. They make me so happy. When I said I could write a book I meant it. But in the end it is all about my kids. To be alive today is only through God's mercy.

I've been drinking...and I never drink. In vino veritas the Latin goes. I guess I need to go to sleep before I "veritas" all over the place. Life can be a cold mistress.

I can tell you one thing, the bottle is the last thing you need to pick up. I'm not a huge church goer but a lot of people find solice in church. I try to pray as much as possible but I feel closest to god in other places. If you fought through that whore named cancer you can do anything. I applaud you, you must be a strong willed man to go through that and survive:cheers.

Thank you. God can be found in other places than a church building. He knows the heart is all I can say.

I do not drink much simply because I do not think solace can be found in a bottle. I do believe in God and as much as I can I trust in Him. Tonight, thought, I did tip back a few.

Thank God I did not have cancer. They found things in my chest and throat but after tests do not think it is cancer. I lost my oldest boy to cancer thought. Survivor's guilt is real. Thanks for talking to me.

I doubt it. I don't advertise my Tigerdroppings name, so people here don't know me or don't realize they know me IRL.

Man, I'm sorry you're having a rough time right now. Sometimes the worst thing we can do is spend too much time with our own thoughts. You've got to get up and join the land of the living. I know it's scary, but you need social interaction. It doesn't mean all your problems will be solved, but it means you're not by yourself thinking of all the bad things about your life.

If your current family and friends aren't giving you what you need, then you need to form new relationships. If you're able, maybe join a group that does volunteer work. Some of the best friendships are made while working toward a common goal. And it's easier to focus on someone else's problems for awhile. I don't mean to be preachy, but I want you to stick around. Just remember that there are people here who would notice your absence.

No one would give a shite. In fact a few would probably applaud, for I am a bad poster who is actually looking to somewhat redeem myself.

But that's OK. I don't value my self worth to some message board. And neither should the rest of you.

I do feel bad about Coastie though. I posted my well-wishes to her mother and they were genuine. I didn't know about Flask. How did he go?
