I've been saying it for a long time now. Russia has rearmed and rebuilt while the U.S. and NATO still think it's 1995.Europe needs to wake up and start rebuilding for their own defense.

quote:

If Russian tanks and troops rolled into the Baltics tomorrow, outgunned and outnumbered NATO forces would be overrun in under three days. That’s the sobering conclusion of war games carried out by a think tank with American military officers and civilian officials.

“The games’ findings are unambiguous: As currently postured, NATO cannot successfully defend the territory of its most exposed members,” said a report by the RAND Corp., which led the war gaming research.

In numerous tabletop war games played over several months between 2014-2015, Russian forces were knocking on the doors of the Estonian capital of Tallinn or the Latvian capital of Riga within 36 to 60 hours. U.S. and Baltic troops — and American airpower — proved unable to halt the advance of mechanized Russian units and suffered heavy casualties, the report said.

I'm so shocked that you started a thread about Russia and their military.

They are Russian. They'd get to Riga and they'd get so drunk their entire offensive would collapse.

But Obama had a sick burn against Romney about the 80's foreign policy calling, or something like that.

You think the United States doesnt have the most capable and advanced military on the planet? You're out of your mind. The next war we aren't fighting on foot like idiots. We're bombing with unmanned drones scorched earth style. We'll finish the off with unmanned ground drones.

LOL @ tanks and real people.

Your post exhibits a striking ignorance of the situation in Europe. Do you honestly think we could blunt a Russian invasion of any European country using drones? I'm sorry, but that's beyond absurd.

Fck Putin and Russia. They are about to take another sharp decline. And their military isn't near what their PR puppets make it out to be.

I mean...there is like a .00001% chance of Russia ever invading Europe so why spend gazillions of dollars on European defense?

I'm not saying we need to spend tons to defend Europe. I'm saying they need to do it themselves.

Ok, I'll rephrase then I guess.

There is like a .00001% chance of Russia ever invading Europe so why should the Europeans spend gazillions of dollars on European defense?

You obviously don't understand underground USA government weapon advancement.

Carpet bomb with unmanned drones. Doesnt matter how many get shot down, as there are 0 American casualties.

Then we send in an army of these strapped with guns and missiles:

America loves violence and death.

I'd tune in to watch red square earn its name with fire.

OK but what are your conclusions and solutions?

Is this all hypothetical or do you think that Russia will go to war with NATO over the Baltics?

Do you feel we should commit more resources to the area? Let Estonia know that we're just kidding about that whole "attack on one member is an attack on everybody" thing?
