if a person snores in life, do they snore if in a coma?

Seems like they would, but I am not sure
If you don't snore in a coma, how does that work? Don't see how the breathing obstruction just goes away

I would say yes, unless they were on a breathing tube

A person in a coma is not dead. A person in a coma is not "sleeping" - it is a different level of lowered brain activity. Their metabolic demands are lower, including oxygen. A person in a coma is typically under more intensive life support, including respiration support.
I defer to medical experts who come into the thread later, of course.

If you dream while in a coma and you typically have awesome dreams, would it be preferable to be in a coma than not in a coma?

My brother was in a coma for over a year due to head injury. He snored before the accident and did not snore to the best of my knowledge after... its weird

Yes, when the breathing tube is removed.
Not something I want to see again.

Did he just snap out of it? Is he somewhat back to normal now?
