Wife and I are having our first in October. We are looking for just a weekend stay b/c i need to save vacation for when the baby is here. What are some good ideas/places to go for a weekend in August.
Im looking at BR (if we can stay at a casino), NOLA, or Biloxi.
Anyone else have some ideas or suggestions? TIA

Has the insatiable desire for sex on her part dried up yet?

If it has then Golf Resort

If it hasn't then cheap motel.

i agree, we did a dinner with just us two for the reveal, and she already told me she wants a keurig for the push, so i figure i havent got it too bad. if i can swing casino and brazillian steak house, thats more of a trip for me then it is for her.

Dont wait until August. The further along the pregnancy she may start to feel miserable and may not be into whatever it is you are planning. As far as where to go I would not consider a casino trip with a pregnant woman to BR or Biloxi much fun.
My So and I actually went on a sort of babymoon to NOLA in her 6th month and had a great time. It was the first time I've been to NOLA to do touristy stuff and not just party. It was also in January so it was not hot as hell like it is now. Frankly I would suggest going to Gulf Shores for a weekend to relax on the beach.

She'll be 7+ months pregnant. In. August. Think about it for just a second. I can't imagine wanting to go to any of those places you mentioned in her condition. If it were me (I'm a woman) I would politely send you away anywhere you wanted to go so I could stay home, alone with the AC set on 65.

oh the OT, where travel and vacation are unanimously
celebrated as a good thing

except if you call that vacation a babymoon

because THEN you are a fricking retard for wanting to go on vacation

Sounds like you just want a weekend to yourself or with the guys. Just tell her that forget this babymoon bs.

Send her to a weekend spa with her sister or friend. You and a buddy do a golf or fishing weekend.

I'm pushing for the "drink until you act as crazy as a pregnant woman" party.
