Scruffy also has an agenda. I don't know what happened because I wasn't there but it is certainly plausible that the gun was missed in the search. It does happen. I also believe Feliciana has posted the most likely scenario in that he wanted to get rid of the piece before going into the jail. Is it possible that the officers shot him for no reason while he was cuffed? Anything is possible but that is extroadinarily unlikely from my personal experience. Why in the world would the officers even have weapons drawn on a cuffed subject about to go into a jail. I will also add that if they were about to enter the jail the officer likely did not even have weapons on them as they mus be secured before entering the facility.

Did you know they had the FBI and DOJ in town last fall? That the same sheriff's dept watched some guy die in jail b/c they refused to get his medicine? All in the past year. Yeah, bet you didn't.

possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS is a felony along with bringing one into a detention center

assuming that argument is the truth, the cops should be fired and found partially responsible
the entire reason our constitutional rights have been eroded is their calls for protection, but in this instance we see the real reason for their desire to strip us of our constitutional rights
