I guess someone drunk as hell spins out into a 180 and just starts driving. Hard to see how they got that far driving wrong way.
Also they can easily get on the west bound lane going east at 51@Laplace.

My kid is home sick so my FIL drove down from Dutchtown to watch her. Left his house at 6 am. Got to my house in Da Parish at 8:30. Normally takes about an 1 hr 20 min. Some drunk apparently went the wrong way on the spillway, hit another car, and then 5 18 wheelers all hit each other.
