I still remember my first slow dance.

There I was. The end of my fifth grade year. We were celebrating at pool party at my teacher, Mrs. M's house.
And there we were, a cluster of love-crazed younguns.
Her name was Cara. She wore a Looney Tunes shirt. She had freckles and long dark hair with poofy bangs. The only CDs we had for the stereo, secluded away from the pool under the porch, was Greenday's Dookie and the Cranberries.
We played Zombie on repeat for nearly an hour.
It's all we had!
And I remember it.

I do too. I don't remember the song, but I remember the girl. Her name was Zelda. She was a calligraphy enthusiast with a slight overbite and hair the color of strained peaches.
