Nothing fancy but I don't want cheap Chinese ones either. What's the brands to get or avoid and where should I go to buy them (Monroe area)?

I have no idea, just regular car tires. Between Firestone or Goodyear are those the two brands to look for? They're the only ones I know.

What kind of vehicle? SUV? Sedan? Performance? Do you drive a lot on hwy? In rain? Tire brands vary in re quality according to many factors, imo. Hard to say what's "best" or "good" in general without knowing some specifics.

ETA: Check the owner's manual for your vehicle. It should give recommendations & definitely specifies the size.

Good idea, thanks. And I'm just looking for general car tires for around town, occasional trips, etc.

I've had good results with a few sets of Cooper tires on passenger cars.

Looks like three places in Monroe carry them. LINK

You post about powerful telescopes and black holes and shite, yet you've only ever heard of two brands of tires? You may be the weirdest fricker in the world.

Cooper CS5 Tourings if they are available in your size. GREAT tires. Also, check for Uniroyal Tigerpaws. Another very good tire for a number of vehicle types.

I've had good luck with Falken tires on my Accord. Usually get them on Amazon.

I've got tires fixed there several times. Real nice guy. He looks like Mario.
