What's the biggest threat to Christianity?
Is it Isis? Islam? Gay marriage? Nah.
It's our personal comfort. :mindblown:

I'm sure Christians in the Middle East agree.

As people become more and more educated that advancement will end.

People that think their education somehow makes them superior.

The biggest threat against any religion is someone who would profit from that religion financially.

There is no threat to Christianity, only a threat to Christians.

That's very vacuous. Care to elaborate? Do you count churches, preachers/priests as a threat to religion.

Freedom of information on the Internet and the anonymity that allows someone to openly discuss the merits of Christianity without the social stigma enforced by the gestapo.
If Christians want to stop the loss of the millenialls, they will need to stop talking down their noses and start talking about why Christianity is a good thing for society and take a long hard look at some of their completely unrealistic anchors that they are holding onto.
I'm not particularly religious, but I really like what Christianity does for society, which is why I support it. At the same time, I will call out the ridiculous nature of the claims made by my "moral superiors".

This thread should last until the mods wipe the sleep out of their eyes.

I'm sure this makes you feel all nice and fuzzy inside. The fact remains, people who willfully propagate ignorance are a major problem for all of us.
Is it false to say the educated man is, in a sense, superior to the uneducated? Certainly the past can clear this up for us.

I'm assuming that's a question despite the punctuation, but to answer it, yes. Once religious teachings become a business model instead of moral guidelines, your religion will get corrupted.

In the US? I'd suggest pretending there is a threat to Christianity and perpetuating the delusion that you're being persecuted may be a good place to start.
If you somehow feel persecuted regarding being a Christian in the US, I'm not sure what to tell you...
I mean...you wanna change places? I assure you...being an atheist in the South is not all it's cracked up to be...

The Devil. Can't believe God hasn't exterminated him by this point.
