I feel sorry for people who work outside in south Louisiana

In the spring and fall, I envy them. In the summer, I feel sorry for them. Its hot as hell outside. I dont know how they do it. I thank the lord I sit behind a desk under the A/C and post on TD for 8 hours a day.

I know all the city workers in my area that work outside, during the summer they go to work at 6AM and get off at two. It is probably a lot better than being in a cube.

You get use to it , don't get me wrong you sweat and it's hot but it's manageable ....
It's funny when you run into someone that can't handle the heat , today I worked 9 hours in the heat then came home and cut my grass , no problem ....
And will fish this weekend .....

Personally, I don't find it hot most days. My buddy was bitching about working in an open shop with an A/C unit blowing on him and fans everywhere. I was outside the entire day and didn't have a problem. I honestly haven't found it to be that hot this year. I guess it comes from spending so much time hanging out and working outside all of my life.
The only bad days are after it rains overnight. The morning humidity makes life miserable
Eta: At 95, I won't even sweat outside unless I'm doing a lot of moving
