They don't call it the stealership for nothing baw. Find a decent shop that's not the stealership.

Why on earth did you bring it to the dealership in the first place?

Change your title to "recommendations for a car repair shop please"

You ever heard of a warranty?

OP: what engine? You may have better luck on the Outdoor Board.

If you think 50,000 miles is bad just wait and see what happens at 60,000. Miss, smoke and hesitate are the key words.

fuel injector cleaning
you just got a wallet cleaning. Injectors don't normally need cleaning or additives if you burn brand name gas. The AGCO Gods Speak

I've always had better luck getting serviced at a dealership than elsewhere.

I took my year old car to the dealership for 10K service a few weeks ago (which is all free). I got a call telling me I needed a new cabin air filter and an engine air filter, which would cost me around $70.00 total.

I protested and asked why I need this after only a year, and the only response I got was, "It's been a really high pollen year."

I said no and went to O'Reilly's to get the filters and attempt to do it myself. Not only did the filters cost about 10 bucks each, but after struggling to find the right one, the employee came out and just opened it up. The air filters were about as clean as could be. I also finally got around to watching the Youtube video which detailed how both could be replaced in less than five minutes.

I made a complaint to the manufacturer about the dealership's actions, got a nice $100 Visa gift card in the mail for my troubles, and personal, hand-written apology from the service department.

thank god I went with a toyota truck, less sticker shock and they don't make trucks that fall apart in 50k miles.
