I've umpired high school baseball for 21 years and have seen my share of helicopter parents, and the younger the kid, the worse they are, and usually, the moms are worse.

Yes, do not scream at your children during a game. I coached my children for many years in various youth sports, but when I did not I never yelled at them.
However, do not make fun of the “back elbow” up. Great hitters generally start their swing with their elbows parallel to the ground, weight on their back foot, and first finger knuckles aligned.
