But no shite I got a masters and didn’t know there was a rule to a and an till I was like 25

Don’t let it. Lol. That’s actually correct. The pronoun “I” should be used in that case because it’s in the nominative case (predicate nominative after the linking verb “is.”)

rather than Stephen and me.

I'm not sure why, I think it's quicker to the point, if me and stephen are together, I might as well get it out of the way that you're coming to meet with me
