I accidentally ran over my mom's dog

Backing out of her drive way this morning. She is devastated. This isn't the first time this had happened. I ran over her last dog when I was in high school. She saw me run that bitch over, so I couldn't deny it. She came running out of her house like a crazy lady and made me feel really bad about it.
This time, I only partially ran over the dog, so it limped over to the side of the house and died peacefully for 20 minutes. She thinks he had a heart attack or something... I couldn't hear her well through all of the tears.
Question is, should I tell her? I don't want her to yell at me again. I already feel a little bad as it is.

Holy frick. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, you should tell her.
And stop running over dogs.

Wow man that sucks. I don't see any reason to tell her. It was an honest accident and it won't change anything.

I wouldn't tell her. And start looking when you back-up. Jeez, man.

Just tell her you're really sorry and it won't happen again. Well, maybe.

Damn. Scruffy does not know how some of y'all could live with the guilt of not saying anything.
That would eat Scruffy alive on the inside.

Are you saying that the dog came back to life?

Thanks for the advice, guys. I don't think I'm going to tell her. I will just buy her some flowers or something and call it day.

Tell her when she's on her deathbed.

How could you just keep that a secret?!

What have you known to "die peacefully" for 20 minutes?
