Constant road construction combined with the volume of truck traffic avoiding 10 thru NOLA that constantly trying to pass each other at or below the speed limit, backing up traffic and causing some very impatient drivers to be more impatient.

DOT won't listen though.

DOTD can do all the listening in the world, these truck drivers will continue to march to the tune of their own drum.

In all seriousness, after following an 18 wheeler trying to pass another 18 wheeler from Denham to Satsuma because neither will slow down to let the other pass, I get pretty in a hurry to get past both assholes.

They're not trying pass each other, they're on their CBs playing a game called trap the 4-wheelers(what they call cars and trucks)

I don't know, they seem to follow it pretty good on the basin bridge. I don't travel that way a lot, but trucks pretty much stay in the right lane. I wish this was a more common law. Those big rigs sure do have a way of slowing things down.

18 wheelers on ALL interstates RESTRICTED to right lane and NO passing....would solve 75% of this national clusterf%^& !
We can ALL wait another 24 hrs. for the cheerios and saltines to arrive....most of Europe does this and it works quite well ! Politics/lobbyists and $ will continue to block any efforts at sanity in the US...lol

How else do you explain those guys driving side by side for 7 miles?

Terrible use of cruise control and equally as shitty drivers surrounding them. I used to be very involved in trucking and never once heard that term or "game." Aside from waiting in line to get loaded or unloaded, truck drivers don't really use CB radios like they used to

How exactly were you involved in trucking? I grew up in trucking(grandfather owner operated 18-wheelers all of his life) and what I said is absolutely true.

Driver manager for around 40-45 owner operators. I guess it's an outdated term
