Gave me chills.

I hope there's more availability to this film than there was for Big Charity.

I've avoided a lot of the stuff that's come out on Katrina because living through the shite was enough. With that said, I'll watch this. I was triaging on the levee by the St. Bernard parish jail and the Coast Guard guys were incredible. They would bring us supplies, food, water, etc. When we all finally made it to the PMAC on Thursday night it felt like I had know those people my entire life.

My nextdoor neighbor at the time was a pilot flying those helos. He actually was the person that I spoke to that first confirmed our houses had been flooded uptown.

He never spoke about the things he saw and did. He ended up getting transferred out of New Orleans a few years after the storm.

I can't imagine the memories and flashbacks this movie will bring out for those guys.

Here is the most up-to-date information regarding the release. Below are the current states and cities carrying Paratus 14:50. For those who asked, we are seeking national coverage and we should have more information very soon regarding the national broadcast.

Mississippi Public Broadcasting (Aug 26th at 9pm)
Louisiana Public Broadcasting (Aug 29th at 9:30pm)
WEDU in Tampa
WFSU in Northern FL & Southern GA
WYES in New Orleans
WPBA in Atlanta

I wonder if they will show footage of the snipers on the Superdome roof.

All kidding aside, I am interested in seeing this. Katrina was the season after I moved up North so I missed it, but lost a lot of property that we still owned down there.

Makes me proud to be an American. No on in that documentary will be worried about flags, homosexuals, illegals, or ANY of the other BS that keeps us all spun up.

It was America's finest helping people in need. THAT people is what this country is all about!
