Used AirBNB for a overnight stop in Ft. Walton. It was a good experience but consult your SO first. Mine felt weirded out by it at first

I hear the bums under the interstate are renting out their tents.

Haven't gotten that far yet. Any general areas to avoid?

Used it in Seattle and Canada with great results, no rapage.

Depends on location in New Orleans, just look at the reviews.

It legit. Just rent a full place. Don't only get a bedroom. That would be weird.

I'm pretty sure they don't actually give you the address until you book it. I used it while visiting Austin this past summer. Everything seemed to work out fine. It would probably be hard to tell in New Orleans because a lot of neighborhoods can be hit or miss depending on the street.

I read an interesting article a while back about the dangers of Airbnb being a lot less safe than hotels, and Airbnb trying to get out of the liability. shite can happen anywhere though.

I used it all over Europe and had wonderful experiences. I've found that people in the states ask for to much to rent out their place. Looked into getting a few nights in Charleston over Halloween and rates were as much more than most nice hotels downtown.

Really, don't just book anything in NOLA. I've seen trap houses in St. Roch and Central City on there.

Try to stay warehouse dist or FQ
