If you are a fan of Stern, you will certainly enjoy this. Someone put together a comprehensive soundboard of the Howard Stern Show. Want to create an message with Crazy Alice? No problem. Richard Simmons? Not a problem. Ba-Ba-Boey? Yes indeed!

Is it 1993? Or is this one of those "throwback thursday" things the kids are always talking about?

tough fricking crowd, lol. Yeah I still enjoy Howard. His interviews are widely regarded as the best in the business. The Paul McCartney interview is probably one of the best interviews I have ever heard.

Did Paul have to do the interview topless? While riding a Sybian?

I still tune in a few months out of the year. When Artie left the show got stale. Needs more Richard and Sal pranks. But I do listen for months at a time when he has A-list guests on.

You talking about that Sideshow Bob look-alike from America's Got Talent?

this describes my listening habits as well. I sometimes use the XM app to cherry pick the interviews I want to listen to. The Glenn Beck one was interesting, and actually made me think Beck is less crazy than I thought previous. He is still off, but not completely bat shite...

If you believe that, then you have never heard his interviews. He is widely regarded as the best interviewer on the planet. Yes, there are silly dick jokes, etc, but listen to the Roger Waters interview, or Paul McCartney, or Billy Joel. His Russell Brand interviews are a riot too.

Yea when I noticed that the SiriusXM app has onDemand replays of the shows I stopped listening live. But I will say 2006-2009 or so when he first landed on Sirius with BTLS on 101 was a fun ride. I wish i could relive that era.

rumor is he will land one of the premium spots ala Barbara Walters like specials several times a year when he hangs it up. I would absolutely love to see him interview some business giants, world leaders, etc. if he can get past the stigma of his former self. Howard is no where near what he was when he first started his show. They still do some of the silly shite, but when he gets into it he is absolutely amazing at getting people to reveal more than they ever wanted.

He is the best interviewer of our time. Anyone who knows anything knows that. There have been many interviews (and I mean many) where I couldnt get out of my car they were so riveting. The last one I recall that I loved was Bryan Cranston. His huge bday show was amazing as well.

"By the end of 2012, Sirius XM’s subscriber base had grown to 23.9 million, mostly due to an increase in partnerships with automakers and car dealers; a strong push in the used-car market; and continued improved car sales in the US in general. The renewal of radio show host Howard Stern’s contract through 2015 ($400 million for five years, $100 million less than Stern’s previous five-year deal) was also a factor in the company’s steady growth; Stern’s show attracts over 12 million listeners per week.

When Stern joined Sirius in 2005, they had less than 1 million subscribers. Sirius is projected to have over 32 million Subscribers by years end. Like him or not he still is one of the greatest radio figures of all time and is a major draw for Sirius.
