I have only heard medicated Pete's so far, and it was pretty funny, although terrible for Pete. Laughed when he answered Leonardo DiCaprio should play him in a movie. Also, I loved it when he was in a negotiation with himself over his salary.

I used to listen/watch cut ups of his show on E when I was a teenager late at night. It was funny but I never listened to him so I can't really appreciate it as others do. I watched Bill Simmons' new HBO show where he did a really interesting and entertaining one on one with Jonah Hill, who went off on a sonnet about how amazing Howard Stern was, how he'd gotten better with age, stc etc.

I never realized people were that interested in him or that he was that impactful or influential.

Medicated Pete interview was outstanding. He is underrated as a whack packer. Prob my favorite.

The whole, see you later/goodbye exchanges are the best.

I don't know shite about interviewing people, but I will say this, it doesn't matter who he interviews you seem to get into that person. Maybe that's not the right wording, his interviews are just real.

Sour Shoes is the definition of an idiot savant. Sour had a head injury when he was younger, and I'm curious if he gained the talent from that or just became totally unhinged letting his talent go to waste. If someone who had a 3 digit IQ with Sour's talents, they'd at least be on Weird Al's Level.

And Sour's best moment, Sour screwing with Steve Langford for 2 fricking years: LINK

JD all day everyday! Pete and Mick are whack pack and their poor performance was expected.

JD's interview showed he really is screwed when Howard hangs it up and he's not paid to watch tv and the Internet.

The decision to get into satellite radio at the exact right time definitely helped with the influence. Still a great interviewer and like someone else said, he can basically make whatever guest interesting to listen to.
