This guy was from out of town, and I don't know how long he has been in Baton Rouge. But I'm guessing most likely he had some locals giving him tips on where the cops go?

Go in at any time of day and you would see one. I use to work off Goodwood and that was my stop for gas and snacks daily.

If he spent any time at the protests, then any one of them would likely tell him where they hang out often.

That's a thought I've been having. I knew it was a popular coffee stop for BRPD from living in the area.

Perhaps he was just passing by and saw an opportunity? I think there's a chance he was looking for a place like that or was tipped off.

Most people know that, but would someone from Missouri know that? Do they have b quicks in Missouri that cops frequent like down here?

I was thinking they had local help too. But, it's also near BRPD HQ and he could've done a quick recon too so who knows.

I live close to that store. There are always a couple cops hanging around.

Store has one of those badass cappucino machines in it.

They were called to be area due to a guy dressed in black walking down street with rifle weren't they??

He probably knew cops would be in area between Hq and interstate.

Every time I've been there, there's been 2 or 3 walking in. I don't think it was known as a hangout but they must have been pretty nice to cops there.

Everyone in BR knows, and that's not the only location they hang out at

How long has he been in Baton Rouge? I mean coming in for the protest last week and talking to locals can give you that insight.

It wasn't known as a cop hangout, but THE cop hangout...both locations. The B-Quiks on Airline and in SOuthdowns are practically satellite police stations considering how many officers are typically hanging out there sipping icees and eating donuts and drinking coffee.

I was there Wednesday for 30 to 45 minutes and saw at least 3 or 4 come in and out.

Pretty well known I suppose to those who frequented the establishment. I often got coffee there or ICEEs for my kids when driving around BR and there was always a cop there. From what I recall they gave complimentary coffee and fountain drinks to uniformed police and emergency personnel. How this murdering piece of shite from out of state knew about it? Well I can't imagine anyway other then being informed by other pieces of human shite in BR.

When I use to pass by for work there was always one working detail there and maybe 1 or 2 more getting coffee and what not. They are definitely a Hotspot for LEOs.

If he's been stirring shite up near the BRPD HQ on Airline Highway, he might have gone to that C-store once or twice.
