So you are basically looking at the eclipse on a white paper? Seems kind of underwhelming. I might be off, I can't really hear what he is saying because of almost non-existent work computer speakers.

I'm just gonna glance at it every now and then. If I go blind I'm really fricking unlucky considering it hasn't whiped out entire civilizations eyesights before when they didn't have the special glasses.

I'm not watching it. The office even gave everyone glasses, and is having a big party in the parking lot over lunch, but I'm going to stay inside and go through everyone's stuff.

Yeah, you just project the sun through a round pin hole. You can set it up on a chair to steady it and just check on it as it happens.

Viewing it without protection can cause eyesight problems later in life. Like many year later.

Well I'm not just gonna not look at it at all because not having some special glasses MAY cause problems with my vision later in life.
