I'd have to say 80+, unless it was somebody in their 60's who was suffering through cancer or some other horrible illness. Then death, while sad they went early, is better than living in years of pain or agony. By 80 you've had a good run and have had some years of retirement to enjoy yourself. It is always sad when somebody dies but it's hard to argue anybody that makes 80 got "cheated" out of years of their life.
For those of you who say 40's, I'll turn 41 soon and have a 12 yr old and a newborn. The wife and I hope to have 1 more boy then we're done. If I died anytime in the next 10 years it would fall under the "tragic" label for having kids that age.
