Andrew Jackson today, Thomas Jefferson tomorrow, next Washington.
If you dig deep enough you can find someone offended by every president for something.
I guarantee someone will use this logic to take down the Andrew Jackson statue in Jackson Square.
Maybe they can rename it Place de Armes, only if they don't find that offensive too.

You pretty much have to be a complete dumbass to care whose face is going to be put on money.

They could have at least put a fricking woman on the bill like they said they were going to do.

When I heard about this, that's exactly what I thought of. Some retard is going to draw a noose, or something, on her and it's going to be a media shite storm.

If I am reading the OP correctly, I think he means that if you try to pay a black cashier for some Extra Crispy at KFC with a $20, they will call you a racist.
Well that's what I read too. It just didn't make sense.
What I thought he was trying to say was someone being called a racist for using a Jackson $20 instead of the Tubman $20 once they are in circulation.
That would make a little more sense, and TBH, I actually could see an incident like that occurring due to general stupidity and this BLM nonsense going around.

I'm just pissed Michelle didn't get the nod. She is way more deserving.

Agreed. Why have any face on money? That way no one is offended, and it is just money.

I've heard that some American Indians won't use $20 because it has Jackson on it so there is a precedent for currency-based claims of racism.
My understanding is that Jackson will still be on the bill, just on the back, so it's not like they are removing him because of some offense.

This. The only things on a bill that matters to me are the number showing how much it is worth and the part about "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private". They could put Bugs Bunny on the front for all I care.

Can it be maple scented like Canadian currency? She does kind of look like Aunt Jemimah
