Same here. I could probably have $50-$100 a week in bs charges and wouldn't catch it for months. Probably should pay more attention.

I know a guy that never checked his account. Somebody had actually got his debit card number and info and charged around 500 or so every month for over a year. He finally checked it one day and went to dispute with his bank. They could only refund the ones that were as old as 90 days. Dumbass lost a couple grand, maybe more

I can't tell if you are trolling or not.

If you are about to buy something, check and make sure you have enough money for it. If this is news to you, good luck in life... I guess.....

I've never once over drafted in my life. In fact, I have it set to just decline the payment if I don't have enough money in my account.

I quit using banks in 97. Best decision I ever made. You can't put a price on piece of mind.

Lot's of privilege in the OT.

There was a stretch in my younger days where if funds were low on Friday night I'd fill up my gas tank then hit the BofA ATM and withdraw the daily max ($500 or so). A glitch in their system allowed me to do this even if the account only had $1 in it.

The transactions wouldn't process until Monday so I'd be able to live it up for the weekend and pay it back with only a couple $30 fees the following week when my commissions came in.

Being poor sucked.
