Not Lafayette's economy in general, but I believe the number was 27% of their population is employed in the O & G market.

Well O&G revenue is like 15% of the state budget but of the remaining 85% how much of it depends on money and jobs created by the O&G?

I don't think its as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I haven't seen any Ford Truck dealerships close yet, sure the pre-owned lots have increased their F-250 inventory. However, they are still selling new ones, demand is steady. So based off of my in depth knowledge of the Laffer Curve we are totally "ok" with regards to the O&G in the Louisiana economy.

I know. The number is around 15%. Louisiana since the 80s has worked hard to diversify itself, but there's still work to do because there's a ripple effect to a down O&G sector.
