Why were they filming themselves walking into a grocery store?
The way I imagine it going down is that the clerk made the gaff while not in the mother's presence but one of the kids was like "oh I'm gonna get my mama on you" so the other kid knew shite was going down so he instinctively knew to get his iPhone out and begin recording vertically.
Judging by the height and angle of the camera, the kid is between 8 and 11 years old.

At the very moment she stepped in there and started raising hell the police would've been called. She could've hollered "racist" all she wanted to as they were dragging her arse out.
I've told my employees to not even acknowledge people if they are acting this way. Call 911 and stay calm and don't escalate or do anything to incriminate themselves. Let the police sort it out.
If the woman had a problem she should have called the corporate office. Looks like that's either a family dollar or similar store. This is not how you conduct yourself if you wish to be respected.

We should sterilize more people.

The clerk should've said, "You better get out my face and bring your azz back to Zamunda...and pick up those rose petals on the way out too."

I was paying for something in Academy last week and had to wait in the same line while an individual of a similar description tried to ask if she bought school clothes while they were on sale, why couldn't she return them later when they were back to full price and get the full amount back. She held up the line for like 20 minutes.
People in the other lines were all staring as she continued "i'm not tryin' to get short'd"

Makes me want to dress up as a Viking and slaughter and pillage.
In my "beautiful cultural garments"

Yeah, for as much as they claim to have pride in their communities, they sure as hell don't stick around there for Halloween.

I have some of the most respectful children in this neighborhood, But I'm gonna act like an arse and drop bitch, muthafricka, and every other foul word in front of them and the neighborhood.

I'm actually a little bit torn.
On the one hand, I applaud the mother's initiative to stick up for her children. On the other hand, I wonder if she even appreciates the irony that her boorish behavior - insults, profanity, terrible example for her children - in responding to an essentially benign act of ignorance, rather than some racist diatribe (based on my observation of events in the video) is WAY worse for her children's long-term outlook on things, particular race relations.
Hell - the entire point of dressing in "cultural garb" is presumably to raise awareness. This question is THE PERFECT opportunity to do that. Instead of freaking the frick out, it is an opening for a 2 or 3 minute explanation of what the outfits are and why the children are wearing them.
But, no - this bitch is on a seek and destroy mission for closet racists, using her children as bait.

Speaking of everything is racist, did you guys meet some of newbies on the Tiger Rant? According to a couple of them the reason Harris got pulled out of the game is because he is black.

Well - and much of this I inferred, so forgive me - what I believe happened is this:
1. Mother (who is not seeking attention or looking for offense in ANY WAY) dressed up her beautiful children in beautiful cultural garments.
2. Said beautiful children (or at least 1 of them) were asked by cracker arse store clerk, "Are you going trick or treating?" - in September. None of that is not sketchy, I'll grant you.
3. Mother (who, to be completely fair, is probably on the edge of angry at all times) gets angry and says something to the effect of, "Aw, hell no!" - and leads the procession back in, presumably after instructing at least 1 member of their entourage to act as videographer (and, hold that motherfricker up portrait style) FTMFW
At least, that's my best analysis without additional angles of video, witness statements, etc.
