Ahhh the perks of getting old.

Any fronts, pressure changes, rain, etc. And the back, neck, hip, etc let me know about it.

About 50 stitches and all scar tissue in my knees sucks when it gets cold.

I'm young and I broke my collarbone in 3 pieces playing football. When it gets really cold sometimes my collarbone hurts so bad I literally have to lean my whole body to the left and stop walking for the pain to go away. It will usually throb even after that though.

Broke my arm just above the wrist 30 years ago. Stil get an occasional sharp pain in it. Maybe once every few months.

Yeah, cold sucks too. But seems like rain/pressure changes bring the pain more to my joints.

Last night it was my lower back/hip (usual suspects). Tonight it's my neck.

Me too. Both bones.

Mine was about 33-34 years ago. I feel off the monkey bars in 2nd grade.

Monkey bars wreaked havoc on many a kid's bones back in the day.

I have aches and pains, but they're pretty random. They don't seem related to weather changes.

Left knee has two titanium screws. I can accurately predict rain.

Yeah my lower back and hip (fricked up discs in lumbar) will hurt so bad that no amount of NSAIDs, heating pad, hot showers, laying in the floor, muscle relaxers, opiates will help. I usu just end up knocking myself out

Lots of injuries, none really ache with weather yet.

But I smell rain long before it arrives. Ever since high school the smell of a hard rain wakes me out of a dead sleep. I'll grab my tobacco pouch and walk outside. Usually have time to roll a cigarette before the first drops hit the tin.

I used to hate it. As I've gotten older, I don't mind it at all.

Especially since it was always concrete or hard dirt underneath and not pine bark or rubber pellets. Pussification of 'Murica.

Buddy of mine wrecked his pathfinder Sunday and busted his femur up pretty good.

Just thinking about that makes me hurt.

This. They put pea gravel underneath after I broke my arm and another guy in my grade fell off the top of the slide and broke both arms in the same year. I remember he had the double casts with the props to hold them up.

The playground of my elementary school was where the old high school used to be. They tore it down and left the foundation in place. So there was maybe a half inch of dirt on top of a concrete slab. We played tackle football out there every day at recess.

I notice it for the most part when it's cold. Could also be because of a lack of movement during those times also.

Range of motion always seemed to be the thing suggested to me

Damn. That's pretty hard core. We just had the red Alabama clay. Which isn't much better.

The principal actually drove me home because no one was answering the phone at home because my dad was at work and my mom was working outside. Then she went and got my grandmother and we went to the ER.

Pretty sure they would just call an ambulance these days.

Crazy how I can remember that like it was yesterday. I was in the hospital for awhile and I racked up on baseball cards. '84 Topps I believe. Plaster of Paris cast all the way up to the shoulder too.

I was. Popping Advil like tic tacs. I thought I had just slept wrong because the Misses is in Detroit and I slept on the couch. I didn't watch the weather and didn't put 2&2 together until I got up this morning and saw it had rained/was raining. It was my back/hip last night, which is where it usually strikes.

Tonight it's my neck that's hurting like hell.

Edit. That's what prompted me to start this thread actually.
