You've come to the wrong place to ask this question.

This board is incredibly bitter about marriage in general. Some people here have very good reason for it, not knocking them.

Marriage isn't for everyone.

25-30 About five or six of them could have easily been the "one", I just wasn't ready till I was 30.

Marriage has become a worse and worse deal for dudes, and currently the dating market is skewed hugely in our favor.

All may be true but sometimes you really find someone you really dig, and enjoy having around. That person who makes life better. There's nothing wrong with digging in for the long run.

"the one"

I don't think it works that way for me. I seriously think I'm cursed.

My parents split up when I was in high school so that's run through my head while I dated women as I got older.

oddly enough.. two of them (who I really liked) had divorced parents too. Maybe not cursed but thinking too much has derailed things for me before. The same could be said for them too. I thought I was ADD but holy crap most of the women I've dated are all over the place.. even worse than me

you might think you have something good going one night and then argue about something so dumb the next night. Extensively.. for hours. Hurts my head thinking about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I started dating when I was 16 and she was 15. Been together ever since, going on 20 years, married for 15. I realize our situation certainly isn't typical though.
