How long do I have to wait for auto title

Paid off my loan with Capital One last week. They said within 15 days they will electronically release it to the state to be mailed to me, contact local DMV for estimated delivery time. Of course the DMV offered no help whatsoever. Anybody know about how long before this thing shows up at my door?

Except when it comes to license renewals. I haven't had mine renewed in few years, but as far as I know each DPS still has to send their forms into the central office in Austin, and they issue the DL.
+1 to Louisiana for that.

State has 21 days to issue. That's in Texas though, but I believe the time limit is similar in Louisiana but I don't remember for sure.
