Like it or not (and I don't, personally) but this isn't necessarily true, unless you are willing to kill your child should he grow and up and decide he wants to be a fricking freak and have it removed in gender reassignment.

Not making light of rare genetic or hormonal diseases at all, but really how many babies need gene testing to figure out their sex? The facts of life are not that difficult for most kids. either you're a boy or a girl. on what planet do these guys live on that they think its good for a child to grow up confused about whether they are boys or girls? being a kid is tough enough on its own.

Are you familiar at all with the narcissism of the recent gender reveal party that has overtaken the nation? It's only going to get worse with the gender identity, and in the exact opposite direction you're thinking.
