I have a buddy (fellow attorney) who has a couple clients that run music festivals, and he goes out every spring/summer for a few weeks at a time to "help" them deal with the lead up to the festivals, then comes back to his wife and two kids.
Probably as ideal of a situation as I could find.

They'll stop inviting you out because you're single and unattached. You're not couple certified. Wait until you get to that point.

FWIW we have a group of married friends we hang out with who are far more wild than us. It's great. Not sure it'll last, though.

And they're all passive, as well.

what do you do to warrant that brand?

My friends don't care if I'm the 5th or 7th wheel for a night and yours shouldn't either. And if they do then screw em back channel me and we'll go 2 man wolf pack it and pick up hoes together.

Nothing that warrants it besides their own insecurities that their SO's hanging out with their alcoholic bachelor friend could lead to them making poor choices. Not my fault they have trust issues and I won't let that keep me from hanging out with someone I've known 10 years longer than they have.

Finch, are you mostly an asphalt & Concrete, carpet type guy, or do you get a little dirt in your socks on occasion? I assume you live in Fl. this state offers a hell of lot to do for those who will just take advantage of its natural resources.

Sounds like you might not respect their relationships (understandable if you think their SO's are terrible) and might get drunk and try to convince your friends to do things that could afffect their relationships. Like drinking too much, flirting with girls, going to strip clubs or whatever. Naturally the girlfriends or wives won't take well to that

Maybe flirt but even though I do not agree or respect the relationship I would never encourage or support cheating. I hope all this is helping OP feel more interesting

Its sad most of my friends are with codependent controlling women, I hope your gf isn't like that feinchmeister

I don't think I'm boring at all, actually somewhat interesting, but it might not come off that way because I'm not a particularly outgoing person. If you are quiet or shy, people might think you are boring.
I feel like I don't fall into any category or fit any mold which is interesting in itself. A lot of times on TD you see someone's interests and it is "LSU Football, LSU baseball". That's like considering watching TV your interest. It's very boring.

I live in Alabama, but I am an hour away from PC and Destin.

To me, being interesting isn't about knowing Art/History, or really even about being knowledgeable.
To me being interesting is more about just behaving differently from everyone else. People who don't care if others think they are weird and who are just trying to have a good time are interesting to me.
