How has CATS improved for you all since the big tax?

I don't live in BR anymore but did when the tax was controversially passed. For those still there, how has service improved?

It's got a cool looking streetcar bus. They'll axe for more money soon.

They bought some new buses

There are a few more empty buses getting in my way.

I have never taken the bus, but from what I have seen and read it is getting better. Responses on here will be fairly dumb, but having a reliable public transportation system is vital to have a successful mid-size city and will eventually help relieve traffic problems. They have implemented new bus routes between downtown and the garden district and built new bus shelters. In the works or possibly already completed are having tracking systems on the buses for use with an app. They have bought new buses and upgraded some of the deteriorating ones.

never seen it in BR.....don't know....

It costs me an extra 3,000 on my property taxes and Cortana Mall down the street was exempt from the gerrymandered tax. The buses are still mostly empty. it is just a big rip off. Typical of Baton Rouge though.

Fwiw, by statue, they do not pay excise taxes either.

This.
I'm guessing a few brothers-in-law got big raises.

If you are against CATS you must be racist.

Isn't violent crime down? It has to be because of the opportunities provided by more CATS buses.
