I just bought some pre cut tent after watching a few do it yourself youtube videos. Did I mess up?

I'd much rather just get a professional to do it... scared of possible bubbles

Getting your windows tinted is still a thing? Sounds pretty trashy.

Spray it down with ammonia to prevent bubbles.

1st, it's tint.
2nd, no, do not do it yourself. I don't care if you watch 30 hours of videos on youtube. Like many other hobby-like activities, you can know damn near everything about the thing but nothing replaces experience so the first time is likely going to suck.
3rd, it's like $120 to get all windows in a vehicle tinted. Just take it somewhere and get it done correctly.

Applying window tint requires a certain amount of talent/skill/artistry... not worth the hassle in my opinion, as it's pretty cheap to pay a professional to do it.

So you enjoy riding around in a fish bowl and having to blast your a/c all summer? I will guarantee it will make your prius look a lot better.

I think if you rub non-pulp OJ on the glass it comes out perfectly. The bubbles come from pulp.

I could be wrong.

Yes. In the amount it cost you to buy the tint, you could pay twice that and have them tinted by someone experienced. There's kids that can tint windows pretty good depending on the level of quality you are concerned with. If you are just doing the front windows to match the factory tint on the rear then you can practice a couple times and probably do a half decent job at it. But if you don't care for getting good at it and want it done right, just pay someone. It's well worth the cost.

Tint has doubled in the past 10 years or so. I called 5 places around Mandeville/Covington and the cheapest was $279 for 5 sedan windows of legal level tint.

ETA: But still well worth it for the lifetime warranty and no bubbles

You should buy extra and be prepared to practice. The first attempt will be a failure.
