how do trashy people contact people back home when on cruise?

AT&T seems stupid high for international plan

I've been in about 5 cruises and just used email - I don't recall ever using a phone

Wifi plan on the cruise is cheap. Use Facebook Messenger to text and make calls over Wifi.

buy a cheap arse phone that uses cards and use that.


While in Aruba, we rent a phone from a local cell person. 100 minutes, free data, incoming calls, and texts for usually $50?

I don't do Cruises (ex-Navy) but when I go on vacation I usually have free Wi-Fi Turks and Caicos last year and Thailand next month.

I tell work I am not available, if they can't survive without me then I need a raise.
