I've been in some dirty houses, but I think the dirtiest house I have been in was to this guy's house who was having a card game. Dude didn't even bother trying to clean up before people got there. When everyone got there, dude went to the kitchen & started cleaning off the kitchen table which had dirty dishes, stacks of old newspapers, etc covering it. There was a bowl of chilli that was at least a few days old and when I saw that I thought about just up & leaving.

The kitchen table wasn't the only thing not clean, the whole house just had shite everywhere & the reason there was dirty dishes on the table was because there was no more room because the sink was filled with dishes. The living room had cups all over the place.. His sister lived with him & it was as if every night they would get something to drink, bring it in the living room & just leave there and instead of just picking it up, they would get a different cup every night & just not pick them up. Strange people.

This is not the kind of dirty I hoped for in this thread.

Friends uncles house was bad that we would only sit on the very cliffhanging edge of their couch. He offered to cook something for us, flicked a dead roach out of a greasy pan and started heating the pan up.
That place was bad but I've been in a hoarders house and it was as bad as what you see on those TV shows. The smell was unbelievable.

Did they have stuff on the couch where you could only sit on the edge or was it just filthy as hell?

I've been in some repugnant fricking houses due to my line of work. Chicken bones (eaten) on the floor, dog shite in the carpet.

I've been in a house in Baltimore where some family members were living there after their relative died. She didn't die in the house or anything. She died and the family just were squatting in her house after she passed.

There was writing all over the walls, nasty arse mattresses on the floor, piss on the floor. Like human piss, someone just up and pissed on the living room floor. shite filled up in the toilets.

Whole house smelled like shite and arse. Totally expected to find a dead body in there.

People just live in filthy conditions.

It was filthy and we didn't want to get the dirt or funky roach spray + gym sock smell on our clothes.

One of my roommates had 50 empty pizza boxes in his room at one point. Some had been in there over six months.

My brother use to manage some rent houses that were in a poor area. He would tell me about the shite he would see. He said one time he went fix something in one of the houses, the lady who rented it worked two jobs. She had a son who was in his twenties with no job... He said one time he walked in & the son was the only one home. The lady told him her son would be home so my brother kept knocking on the door, but he just used his key to get in because no one answered. He said the son was on the couch sleeping. All he had on was his underwear & my brother said the house smelled like shite. He went in the bathroom & someone took a shite & was too fricking lazy to flush the toilet, but he said the people who lived in the rent houses didn't give a frick at all.. about where they lived.

I dunno man..

sounds like he's/they're depressed,

you wanna beat them up for being depressed?

perhaps you could have turned your disgust into help by enrolling the other guys to pitch in to cleanup after the game

you may have shocked them out of whatever kinda funk they were stuck in,

just maybe...

I spent several hours (at least 4) cleaning my friend's living room and kitchen once. most of the shite she wouldn't get rid of and I ended up having to pile it on the dining room table

one time she told me that if she doesn't feel like doing dishes and there aren't any clean plates, she'll just cover one in foil for her daughter to eat off of

she didn't work and had a sugar daddy. and he paid her rent. but her apartment was so filthy that she wouldn't let him come over there. she used my place for their meetings more than a few times

I knew this really gross hoarder couple.. They used to sweat all the time and go to the gym and shite and come home and go to bed without showering.

Their house had piles of garbage everywhere, old McDonald's cups and pudding cups, toilet paper and used paper towels in piles all over the living room. One night the dude got drunk and told me they have sex on the piles of garbage. There was a colony of rats living in one of the piles of garbage, and a birds nest in the living room.
