According to the folks at Costco, they are not sold in stores ... though I was asking about the dec 20 rollout, so they may have sold them in store prior to their fame taking off ... I bought 4 dozen dec 20 but haven't played yet due to the flu and this weather ...

I bought about 6 dozen when they came out
I haven't played much lately though but was very impressed when I did play with them

You and I loved the Srixon Z stars so this is good news if you liked them.
I have no idea how I am going to get them though

Pretty sure they aren't sold in most stores.
I bought mine online before the mad rush. Now they can't keep them in stock. They sell out almost immediately.

Trying to track down a dozen for the beginning of the season.
Worthy of the hype?
Just buy them. If they suck, they'll return them without any problems, even if you hit a few in the lake. They have the best return policy of any store I've shopped.

I had a sleeve of them and tried them out for a couple rounds. Great distance and very good feel. Plenty of spin when hitting full shots into the green. However, I did not have the same control around the greens with them as I do the ProV1X. They also didn't feel quite as good putting. Considering how cheap they are I don't think there's a big enough difference for the average amateur golfer to spend $50/dozen unless you just don't care about money. I'm a +0.4 right now and I would play them if I could find them.

I mean, I lose 0-2 balls per round. If it's a Pro-V or Kirklands there really isn't much price difference. I like the look of the Titleist paint and dimple pattern. I'm staying with tried and true.

Less than 1% of golfers need play a ball that has advanced technology in spin rates and the sort, yet when you hand a fricking 20 handicapper a Pro-V1 or one of these Kirklands, their eyes light up as if they're going to crush the ball 50 yds farther than they would any other ball.
The golf business truly relies upon some of the dumbest individuals I have personally encountered.

FYI. The Costco vodka in the giant bottle for $19 is Grey Goose.
How do you know this to be true?

Nahh, first hand account. I've seen enough golf for 3 lifetimes.

I started playing the Vice Tour, 25/dozen(if you buy 5 boxes), 30 and you can get the logo of your choice. Even with the custom logo I got them in like 5 days.
