Kid was 13 when the banging began. He got her pregnant. His parents were excited about the baby and referred to her as his girlfriend.

Apparently the kids parents were aware of the relationship and approved. They let him have "sleep overs" at her house according to a Houston TV station.

Maybe it was the parents who thought she was the new girl at school. My son is 14 and if came in one day and introduced me to this girl right here....
... I'd not think twice about it other than be proud for my son for getting himself a pretty girlfriend from his class.
