Hey guys, going on a bachelor party in two weeks to New Orleans & I've been tasked with getting the room.

Right now, looking at staying at the Holiday Day Inn Downtown. Its .9 miles from Bourbon & 111 a night, is that about as close to Bourbon you can get at that price?

So if you were 5 college guys, with college budgets, where would you stay?

Did Holiday Inn and Days Inn merge as companies?

Priceline, 4 star, downtown or FQ area. For 10/17 you can get a 4 start downtown for about $94.

Yeah, I can't see you doing much better than that for the price.

You can look in the warehouse district which is right across poydras. That's a fun area and not a bad way to the quarter

Yes, because marrying someone only because you got them pregnant is a fine idea.

I'm not a user of Priceline but that sounds like a good deal for this time of the year

Try the casino, they always have all kinds of bargains going on. For this time of the year, priceline can help find a better one...in walking distance vs 9 miles away.

Tbh....I didn't even think of that when I read your post

It would suck to be 22 and pregnant imo. Believed it back then and still believe it now. My struggles now still don't mean I wish I would have had a kid when I was younger

Don't stay at the Holiday Inn - that hotel should only be used for Superdome events.

Try something closer to the quarter or warehouse dist. You'll have to take cabs everywhere from the holiday inn.

My wife got pregnant at 22. We've made it.
It's been difficult at times and I missed out on doing a lot of fun shite in my 20s but I look at the brightside. Both of my kids will be out of the house by my early 40s. That's still young enough to travel and do fun shite together.

He posted .9 miles. I'm assuming that's the Loyola hotel.
