Honeymoon suggestions

Getting married in January & we've narrowed it down to: Cabo, Antigua, St. Lucia & Bahamas. We've only been out the country once to Jamaica & didn't have a good experience. So we are a little apprehensive about traveling outside the country again. Really would like some feedback on these places & some recommendations of where to stay. TIA

Why are you apprehensive about leaving the country?
I mean you do realize there are other places better than Jamaica?
Oh and I second Costa Rica.
Went there on my honeymoon and it was an amazing trip.

I loved this place.
Where ever you go, do an all-inclusive place with butler service. You won't be disappointed.

check out turks and caicos. really laid back, some of the best beaches and most beautiful water in the world. definitely not as busy as most other places and has a more "high end" feel without all of the cattle call all inclusive resorts.

It just seemed like it was such a hassle going through customs & I really didn't care for the beach in Jamaica

Cabo is a better place for a Bachelor Party than a Honeymoon. Bahamas can be, but you'll need to go to a secluded island of it (ie: not Nassau). I'd go with Antigua if I were you.
And don't be apprehensive on leaving the country. Jamaica is a shithole that just happens to be on a beautiful island. It is not a place I would recommend at all for a honeymoon. I'd take any other Caribbean country over Jamaica (save Haiti). Don't let a bad experience in Jamaica deter you. I honestly have gotten spoiled in going abroad and typically see a vacation as a real vacation when I'm out of the country. Explore the world and have a good time. Honeymoons should be about escaping, and that means leaving Americanism behind and just enjoying yourself.

So because of having to wait in a long line and one beach in one country.....you are scared of traveling out of the country again??

Also, how many days are you planning for your honeymoon?
Budget?
What exactly do you want in a honeymoon? All inclusive and just lounging at the resort all day? A place that has lots of other stuff to do outside of where you are staying at?

No other things that's too much to type. We are def going out the country for our honeymoon. I've done a lot of reading about resorts in each place, just wanted some advice from people who have been.
Really would like a place where we can just chill on the beach, good restaurants & a little nightlife
