I'm registering my son for highschool and in the Contacts section they ask
Custodial Arrangment
Select "Yes" if this contact has any portion of legal custody for the student.
Has sole custody?
In the event a custodial agreement is in effect where sole cusody is awarded to one parent,
a judgment, judicial decree or consent agreement must be presented to the school and kept on file to allow the school to properly support the agreement.
You may mail/bring these documents to Catholic High School at 855 Hearthstone Dr. Baton Rouge, La 70806
Select Y or N
I am putting myself, his biological mother as the first contact. I don't know how to answer the questions?? I'm his biological mother. I've been married to his biological father since before he was born. I have never been divorced. So what I do put for "sole custody"? No, right? I share it with my husband/his father? Or since we are married and never divorced, do we both have sole custody, so I put Yes?

cross it out or put N/A

there's no N/A option. It's online and the dropdown box has Yes and No

select "yes"
they're just asking if YOU have any portion of custody, which is true

N/A stands for "Not Applicable"
Posted on 3/8/17 at 2:26 pm to Tigeralum2008
yes. i'm not divorced and my parents aren't divorced, so I don't know about custody. I mean I know that if you divorce someone nuts, you can get sole custody or if you are both normal, you share custody. But I don't know what the term is when married, not nuts, never divorced

it's the second question i don't understand.

You've got to be trolling. Just put no.

Arse is correct. Select NO.
They are trying to politely ask if you have a crazy arse Ex who might try to kidnap the kid from the school. If you had that, they want a copy of the Court Order saying "hands off the kid" so that if the crazy Ex shows up they can call the police and present the Order.

just put YES, each contact has custody, they're not asking how much, just that you have it.
